Ridgely, TN 2008 Seismic reflection data were acquired on one profile of approximately 4.08km along South Bluff Road, east of Ridgely, Tennessee. Profile starts at approximately N36.289956°, W89.407027° and ends at approximately N36.257196°, W89.425938°. Receiver sensors were 8Hz vertical component and spacing was 5m. Source was a seismic vibrator (minivib 1) using a linear sweep of 15-120Hz over 10 seconds. Source point spacing was 5m. The line progressed from north to south with the source generally in an “off end” configuration (pushed the spread ahead of source). Field files submitted to the IRIS DMC are correlated with a synthetic sweep and are 144 channels nominally. Location information in file headers is in UTM coordinates, zone 16N WGS84 datum. If these data are used for a presentation or in a publication, please acknowledge the U.S. Geological Survey and the National Earthquake Hazards Reduction Program for their acquisition.
