Description
The overall objective of Drew’s study (funded by the USGS EDMAP program) is to evaluate the hypothesis that late-stage N-S shortening during the Laramide orogeny produced an en echelon pattern of doubly plunging folds (hosting local oil fields) along the southwestern margin of the Wind River basin. The seismic lines will allow Drew to better evaluate the geometry and kinematics of the targeted Clear Creek fault, which are keys to his evaluation.
