Over 200 seismic stations were deployed in the Seattle area to measure site responses from the Kingdome implosion and four 150-lb shots. The stations were deployed at a nominal spacing of 1 km in a hexagonal grid. 38 three component stations also recorded the M = 7.6 Japan Volcanon Islands earthquake of 28 March 2000. This teleseism produced useful signals for periods between 4 and 7 seconds.
