Thursday, October 10th from 5:30-6:30 PM in the Broadway Room 1/2
David Phillips, UNAVCO
Rob Casey, IRIS
IRIS and UNAVCO are exploring the development of a single data access point for seismic and geodetic data users. The access point would allow users to obtain both seismic and geodetic data in a particular region or for a particular time period with a single web services call. We are seeking input from members of the scientific community who combine these data sets in their studies to discuss requirements, needs, and use cases that can help inform the design of such a system. How do users prefer to access these data? What parameters are used for discovery and access? In what form should the end product be delivered? We want to hear from experts like you on what would make this a success for geophysical science.
